Thank you so much for your help The stag seems to be improving The seller recommended an injectable antibiotic to be safe So I went to the feed store and all they had was Sulmet Which suppose to help with Coryza, Coccidiosis, Acute fowl Cholera, and Pullorum Disease. Think that will help?
Thank You for the replies there almost no sneezing like earlier making less conjested noise. They do seem tired but still pretty active. The discharge doesnt smell.I think I'm going to try some baby cold medicine. Is that a bad idea?
so today I ordered a trio of young game fowl. Stag seems conjested and sneezing and a pullet the same. Another pullet which seams younger isnt showing any symptoms. I noticed clear discharge from the stags nose. They ate fine when I put feed out haven't drank anywater though. Could this be a...
So today is day 21 and a one chick out of four was zipping and just ready to start push and break free but all of the sudden a bunch of bubbles stated to form and I think it drowned the chick. Its peak was sticking out of the shell slightly and had bubbles all around it. What I'm I doing wrong...
You could feed them hard boiled egg yolk they love it. I add suger to the water too. I heard they can go 24 hrs without feed after they hatch. I try to have feed ready for the as soon as they are out of the bator. Good luck
I do have a thermometer in the incubator (Brinsea Spot Check). What I meant is last time I incubated I had it set to 99 and temp would go from 97 to 100. So I thought I would set it at 99 and forget about it this time around but Temp readout was a little diferent this time. I would assume it...
I first incubated 8 got 3 to lockdown and 2 hatched and doing great. I blame my temp the firs t 3 or so days. This time around I had 18 and left with 6 on day 7. I trusted the reptipro readout and was wrong incubator was reading 99 and actual temp was 103 . Most were clear though and a few blood...

Looks like I'll be using that next time. Second chick did get spraddled legs but thier fine now after I put tape on it. Both chicks are now walking all around the brooder and pecking at everything the see they both are eating just fine but I haven't seen the second one drink any water its looks...
No shelf liner to tell you the truth I wasn't expecting any to hatch started with 8 and had them sitting for about a week without turning in my room. I was even going to throw them out and go camping with my family but my brother's baby was born and what you know it a few hours later the first...
Just getting the feed ready. Theres now two chicks in the incubator. One just hatched. I still have one to go no pip yet though but it still day 20 I think
Set mine eggs on the 2nd at around 7pm. 3 out of 8 made it to lockdown I expected that since the eggs were sitting for some time. One hatch this morning I didn't see an pips or anything. When I woke up this morning I heard peeping so I look in the bator and saw the chick was almost fully hatched :)
One chicked hatched this morning in my reptipro. This is my second attempt first batch didnt hatch in a Hovabator. Should I move the chick to the buttom? It looks its really struggling to get on it feet on the tray. Also what should I do ablout the humidity spike when the chick hatched?
I use to think t was the funniest thing when my rooster use to chase anyone that got near the hens lol unfortunally he died two weeks ago. Now I feel like the whole flock is unprotected hope to get a rooster soon. BTW I order the spot thermometer today.
Recieved my 6000 and really liked it what I noticed is it gets to the set temp quickly. I have mine set on 102 but actual temp is about 99. notices the temp display on the incubator goes from 100 to 103 Is this fine?
