    hummm....this one is hard and not porus.... and the air cell was spot on 5 days ago.... then yeasterday when I checked it was HUGE but the rest are about perfect size for hatch .... and this one just decided to go crazy haha do you think raising the temp 1/2 degree may help with late...

    OK! soooooooooooooooooo..... I am concerned about one of my eggs.... the air sack in it is over 50% of the entire egg! the other's are about 1/3 toward the top in a perfect circle.... in the large air sack egg it coveres the entire top and one whole side of the egg and has several curves in it...

    I have movement!!!!! my eggs are due thursday and I stoped turning them today after I noticed 2 of them getting ready to internelly pip! I could feel the movement and see the head buldge but not internal pip yet!!!!!

    I dont know about fluffing up when it is warm.... but mine will do this when they are chilly.... but who ever said it is in the eyes had it right on..... If they are eating and drinking normally and their eyes are clear, aleart and open, and they are moving around normally then they are good...

    Yes, I have been waiting for my wine celebration of hatching peachicks for 3 1/2 weeks now! :) and it just so happens that my eggs are due to hatch right when my puppies will be 8 weeks and going home... so I have crops, flights and pick ups tuesday-friday and the eggs are due to hatch thursday...

    Yep.... I would start under the chicken for a week.. I hear that ups hatch rate alot... but I would check on her several times a day to make sure she does not push the big eggs away... some dont like to sit on big eggs.... and unless she is a proven broody I would take them away after a week...

    wow! maybe someone else can hop in here... but I have read that humidity will not drown babies unless water vapor is condensing on the outside of the egg... that humidity just controls how much moisture is lost during the incubation process.... so low humidity means a smaller chick sometimes to...
