    Although my girls started out anti-social and would not allow me near them even if I had treats...I can now say since they are starting to mature and attempting to lay eggs...my girls are now becoming hand tame...They squat down and spread their wings a little (makes me think of them breeding)...

    bedding for coops?

    I was reading about the use of "cat litter" for the floors of the coops...my question is this...isn't this cat litter dangerous for the chickens? I mean, I don't even use "cat litter" for my 4 inside kitties...I use shredded paper...So what is the general consensus on this? Just wondering?
