I purchased my Betty from a man on craigslist advertising Jersey Giant pullets. Since then,I'm not so sure about Betty being a Jersey. Her feet and skin are pinkish,which is an Australorp trait. I might allready have answered my own question. Does anyone else have another opinion?
Here are my offerings. I have seven Buff Orpingtons and one alleged Jersey Giant. She has all of the Jersey traits except her foot bottoms are pinkish with a very small amount of light yellow. I really don't care because I love Betty no matter what.
