I set on the 10th. 5 chicks out of 12 made it. #6 doesn't look like it will make it. These eggs were from hens I just bought, I was told a rooster or two was in with them. I wasn't very hopeful so it was a nice surprise.

Your birds sound lovely! Pictures? I candled my eggs last night. I saw shadow movement in 12. 1 was still pretty see through and ended up being just a yoke. And the last looks like it died way early on. So here is to hoping the 12 chickies make it. One more week. =]

Sorry I didn't think to post pictures. Here you go! The one at the bottom of the picture is the he/she, it's with my other leghorn roos. All by itself where it layed a white egg. The white hen is the other leghorn I got at the same time, for comparison.
