Cheers mate. Yeah, I don't think I'm doing too badly. :P
Boo about the train rides. One of my friends went interstate after school, and she now has a 1.5 hour journey to uni every morning, and the same to get back home (she's also in Melbourne). I'm kinda glad I'm still stuck here in teensy...
Sweet!
I used to be very active in OPS (online poultry show) section of the forum, and I drew pictures as prizes for the winners.
(None of these are from my original photos, they're all the winners of my OPS contests)
From 2008 (I think?)

Hi Alanna! Definitely long time no speak. Sorry I didn't notice this message sooner, I mostly use my new account now (Fierlin1182).
The story is here on my old website: http://speedbird741.webs.com/story.htm
It was pretty funny. :P
How's the hatch gone? :)
Here's the picture, I hope it is to your satisfaction. It would've looked nice with a bit of colour but I don't have good coloured pencils these days, so pencil sketch it was!
The poll is here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/890935/poll-for-an-ops-contest-which-picture-is-your-favourite
We still have a tie though, so please vote! :)
There is a tie on votes in Birds Contest (https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/843119/birds-contest-any-birds-with-a-prize/20) so I'll make a poll to see if we can get some more votes in quickly. :D
Here are the three with two votes each (in the lead). Please vote for your favourite in the poll...
Oh rats, I have really been neglecting this contest. Sorry about that, guys!
The contest is now officially closed, five months after the proposed end date. :P
It seems we have a three-way tie (three posts have two votes each). I will post a poll, and if that doesn't end up making a decision...
Oh rats, I am very busy at the moment. D: I keep meaning to end this contest and pick a winner! Can we wait until at the latest my next holiday? (I have 10 days in mid-April). I might actually have time to do the winner's drawing then.
Thank you for the entries and your continued interest!
You're welcome guys :D
Thanks for all the entries and votes. Please vote for all your favourite pictures, you can vote as many times as you like! If there aren't more likes soon my job is going to get very hard because there are so many awesome pictures to choose from :P I could always post a...
I don't know. There's a chance we were both looking at it wrong, or maybe she was the one who accidentally moved the knob. Or maybe she was really having hallucinations (just kidding!)
Well rainbows are what one is meant to see when one looks through the prism box. (As in normal, "seven colour" rainbows - even though it's technically a gradient everyone thinks of it as seven colours) Prism splits up incoming white light into its different components by refracting each...
My friend and I always sat on the same bench in chemistry class. Once, our teacher was handing out prism boxes, one per desk, so we could all have a look at the visible light spectrum. My friend had a look at ours first then passed it to me, but I couldn't see anything... so I summoned the...
Definitely. I thought it would be nice to have a contest where we could have photos of any birds, even random ones. :P You have some nice photographs.
To Funky Feathers: Thanks for entering. That's a great variety of birds you posted, some of which I've never seen before. I think the variety of...
Hey. That IS a good idea! I think I'll begin to draft one as soon as I recover a basic command of spoken rhetoric. That's definitely sporadic in its appearance.
