    Instead of using Sevin you can use Diatomaceous Earth. It is pet safe so you can sprinkle some on a chicken. You can also use it to dust the coop. The link below would be for some Diatomaceous Earth...

    Remember to use the concentrate. It is real hard to find. If there is a small infestation then just use the spray.

    I have some that are always no mater how much feed I give them. They hatched Tuesday, June 5 there are 25 of them I give them cracked corn and starter/grower crumble how much do i give them of each.

    The only time I worry about giving a chicken a bath is if he/she has fleas,mites, or lice. Then I use this. Manna Pro Poultry Protector but you have to use the concentrate. I mix it in the water then put the chicken in. http://www.tractorsupply.com/manna-pro-reg-poultry-protector-16-oz--1014698

    This is my feeder. Above is a short fence that is folded in half Here is a pvc pipe cut in half I put the fence on top of the pipe so the chicks can't poop in it.
