    Help in identifying duck

I stopped by Tractor Supply to hey supplement and apparently was met by an employee having a very bad day (super rude) She insisted I buy duck feed, not just supplement. I did. Where do you buy your supplement? Online?

    Can/should I help more?

I'm pretty sure the one chick died. It was not able to get out of the shell and has been > 48 hours. I decided I would use a moist qtip, like I previously read, and gently help remove the shell. I can't t see any movement . I feel like i should have helped last night. 😥 I also helped the other...

    Can/should I help more?

Ok, I've had 4 chicken eggs in the incubator (2nd try do pretty new). The first try, all of the chicks hatched the same day. This time 2 chicks hatched yesterday evening and one had pecked a hole (pip or zip?) and heard chirping, but the 4th- nothing. It has now been about 24 hours and the one...

    Help in identifying duck

Can anyone help me identify what type of duck this is? We were told initially, by the woman who gave us ducks, that it was a Pekin. However, their color and size is different that Pekin ducks we bought at tractor supply.

    Aggressive Chicks

I was just wondering about aggression in chicks. I have 5 two week old chicks that hatched from the incubator. They are a mix of Rhode Island Red and Brahma. They're currently in a garden tub we don't use. I've noticed them flying up and hitting each other at times (no blood). Is this just a...

    Limping Duck

I'm having the same issue. About 1 week ago, our 3 month old male Pekin started limping. We questioned if he hurt his leg because he has never had an issue before. We also have a few pigmy goats that I questioned were a little rough around feeding time. The same age female peking has no issues...
