Thank you for that, still have movement and chirping in my solitary egg, but no sign of hatching yet???? If he's chirping does that mean he must have internally pipped?? I wasn't this obsessive when my grandchildren were being born!! -

Hi, I actually have another egg in the incubator that I put in from a batch a friend brought us down to eat! and despite the fact I have ignored it for the past few days as I didn't want to open the incubator I candled him last night and he's dancing around having a little disco of his own... -

No joy I'm afraid, can't see any movement or signs of pipping I shall probably give them till tomorrow, that will be 30 days then do one last candling just to be 100%. Sooooo disappointed! -

my incubator is a bit loud!!!! so I can't hear anything!! and I'm too afraid to open the incubator and pick it up!! still no external pip now and we're halfway through day 28 -

HI sorry to sound dumb but do you mean if they're internally or externally pipped to chip away shell? I'm so worried now I've moved him I might have caused damage!! -

OMG!! took the risk! candled! saw definite movement in one egg and I'm pretty sure an internal pip! humidity dropped to 60 when I opened incubator but immediately started climbing once I closed it! -

Hi, anybody help? I lost one duckling on day 24 of hatching, he pipped and I left well alone as advised but 36 hours later he'd made no progress took him out and it appeared that his beak wasn't fully out of the membrane (I didn't realise how big their beaks were!) and he must have suffocated... -

Can anybody give me some advice please!!! the two eggs I have left both have good air sacs but I couldn't detect any movement, but to be truthful I haven't really seen much movement even when I candled them through the hatch, I could just tell they were growing by the fullness of the egg. But... -

Thanks guys, the little fella is definitely gone, If I'd had more experience I think I may have saved him, cos when I took him out of the incubator I realised part of his beak was still in the membrane so I guess he suffocated as I chipped a little of the shell away and he looked perfect!! I... -

Many thanks for your comments. It's been over 36 hours now and I can't see any sign of movement, we're into lock down now so fingers crossed even if the first little fella doesn't make it the other two will have a chance. Humidity between 80-85% is that adequate? I'll keep you posted! -
