My production red has been quite listliss the last several days, now she is not eating, drinking excessive amounts of water so her gullet is quite large, and just either stands or lays around. I am not sure what is going on, any thoughts???

Looks as if one of my younger birds has gotten her eye pecked at by one of my older hens. Keeps it closed except when eating and looks like her eyelids are covering the eye somewhat. But I am not sure if this happened or what happened, any suggestons?

thanks for the advice...cleaned her head w/ an iodine swab and put some antibiotic cream on it...went to Tractor Supply and pick up a small bottle of Blu-cote. She is in a box w/ food and water and am keeping an eye on her. She is in the warmest room in the house given I have the air con on.
