the whole right side of her face looks swollen. I think that was the side that was down while she was stuck. I will try to flush it but it is all puffy and I cant' see her eye ball. thanks....she is up but seems so out of sorts.....what is V & E ????
My 7 month old white and black duck got stuck in a roll of fencing. I am not sure how long she was there. DH and I were away for a few days and kids were watching barn. ChickenDuck (CD for short) was stuck with only her head sticking out. I unrolled her and her right side of her head looked...
Just want to say to any one who is considering ducklings that they can drown. We just lost one of our muskogies because he fell into the water but couldn't swim or get out!

One of my little babies can not seem to open his eyes...he just is chirping and chirping...is he blind? what should I do? Is he going to die because he can't see the food and water? Will he just starve to death? Is there any hope for my little one????HELP...

I am planning on moving my fences for my chickens and wanted to know if they will eat poison ivy and oak and is it ok if they do...
if they eat all they poison stuff like they did the grass then it will be gone in a short time...and then I wont' get it this year!!!

We got two bottle fed lambs for Christmas this year for my eight year old. We were told that we could feed them eight ounces twice a day and offer them sweet grains as well. We kept them in the barn, with a heater to keep them warm. They are both healthy and fun but they sure do make the barn...
If you look hard enough you will find other chicken lovers who would love some eggs or chickens!!!!
I have ten silkie eggs and 15 duck eggs in bator now....can't wait to see the little fluffs chirping around in my closet....and the feed store is supposed to get some chicks next week!!!!
