How old is your shojo?
Im having trouble with some of my young birds eating their own tails... I have increased the protein in their diet and allowed them to free range more (under my super vision) but they continue pulling and eating...
TM, you told me before you were working on SHORTENING the tails on your Ohiki now, but i never asked why you were doing this. What is the length you are aiming for?
I believe most places there is a required distance the coop must be from your house.
This distance prevents chicken pests (mites, lice, similar insects) from making their home inside your house.
Many of the traits that some breeds posses come from genetic mutations or deformities.
When something new pops up now, people look at it as a defect, but these defects can lead to new breeds if you can harness them.
