We did try to call a couple of animal farms upstate - but they were full on their rooster count - this has been a real help everyone - have a few things to work on so hopefully we'll find something

Agreed - if they decide to eat him - fine - we are prepared for that outcome too - sniff sniff - the main issue is he hasnt been eaten for the past 4-5 weeks lol

The issue is - nothing at the present time is being done - so there a 2 options - either they are going to slaughter it (again - aparently against the law...

It is (highly) against NYC regulations to have a Rooster in the city (there is also a Federal Statute regulating it) - so in fact ultimately, they are breaking the law. They're not supposed to even have the Rooster in the first place
So ultimately it is our decision in some...
That is our Option B if we can't come up with any other options
We're just trying to find a more humane way to either find a new home for the rooster - but if all else fails, yes the owner will just slaughter him.
