Rooster adoption

Try to find some rural areas around you to post the ad to. Maybe upstate NY, or rural NJ. You will have the best luck if you post it in rural areas.

We did try to call a couple of animal farms upstate - but they were full on their rooster count - this has been a real help everyone - have a few things to work on so hopefully we'll find something

Also remember, the life he has had so far is infinitely better then the one he would have had if they had found out he was a rooster originally. 5 weeks of happy growing up is better then his other options, and a humane ending is often better then a meat chickens ending anyway.

When I get upset about what is going to happen to a bird, I try and remember the alternative. what they have and have had is almost ALWAYS better then that.
