does anyone know about the egg color of Welsummers from Sandhill? and i don't want the standard response of 'it won't be as dark as birds from a breeder'. has anyone actually seen the eggs from sandhill birds? or have sandhill birds?

no. it's because i have an organic farm. i must have eggs or day olds. and i've learned, while fun and interesting, buying eggs is not the optimal way to go.

i never have issues incubating eggs with the 20. works awesomely. that said, i do not like hatching in it. there's just not enough room. and cleaning the top is....a job if not nearly impossible in a practical way.
one could easy argue that it's actually not a good incubator for...
i'm looking for red dorking day old chicks. does anyone know where i can get them other than sandhill and horstman? not that anything is wrong with either, i simply would rather not wait until april/may to get them.
to be fair, there are a few things that can cause these symptoms. i'm not so easy to jump to marek. bad nutrition (mold, vitamin deficiency, etc), for example, shows itself identically as described. they could also have some infectious disease from the mites/lice. i could keep going, but i...
