about 9 weeks ago i hatched a single apricot call duck wich i vent sexed at two weeks to be a drake i was correct as he as just malted into his drake breeding colors
5 weeks ago i hatched 14 more apricot calls i haven't been so lucky this time with the vent sexing and the question im asking is...
so the blue fawns will be a apricot/blue fawn mix but look more like blue fawns than apricots?

ive recently bread some call ducks i took eggs from a female apricot and a female blue fawn, all the eggs were fertilized by the same apricot drake
my question is.....
the ducklings are now feathering up and obviously i have pure apricot ducklings but i appear to also have pure blue...
ide just like to thank sundown for helping me hatch my first call duck "little frankie" last month
last week i hatched another 10 call ducks from 13 i set, i had to help 8 of the 10 and without sundowns advice last month im sure i would have lost a lot more there now 7 days old and doing great...
hello my 14 call duck and 5 mallard eggs have just started to pip1call at dinner time and 2 more calls in the last two hours the humidity is at 70% in the r-com 20, over the past few days ive also been spraying them
should i leave the door shut and let them get on with it or should i keep...

yep! some say 45% some say 65% and some say 85% and some even say higher, i dunno either i cant seem to find a proper answer to the question.
then when they die on day 25 all you get is the humidity is either too low OR to high???
ive got mine up to 70% now im holding my breath for the 20...
ive currently 20 call duck eggs in a r-com 20 due to hatch on sunday there all coming on ok and their air sacs look about the right size for there age
the humidity is at 45% should i raise it and how high???
any advice would be grateful

all my duck books tell me to keep humidity at 45% then when they pip to raise it to 65% i know you have had a good hatch with high humidity but i dont want to turn it to high when they have been developing well at 45% at the moment every thing looks well the air sacs are the...

ive currently 20 call duck eggs in a R-COM 20 incubator due to hatch this sunday ill stop turning on thursday.
the humidity at the moment is 45% (its accurate ive tested it) my question is when should i turn the humidity up to 65% on thursday when they stop turning or do i wait...
