A little late posting! We set 10 standard backyard mix eggs in our brinsea mini. A beautiful mix of greens, olives, and dark brown eggs from another local.
We lost our boy, Hank, and two of our old ladies this winter. Our girls are lost without their hubs and I think 2 of our 4 remaining hens...
They are always my very best chickens. They are usually friendly, super healthy and live forever! My oldest hen right now is from our random flock and she's 6.5 years old.
All through hatching! Started with 7 eggs, 5 made it to lockdown but only 4 hatched. So now I've got 4 unique little barnyard mix cuties from 3 different colored eggs (2 dark brown, one pale blue, one light olive). I caught two of them hatching, but I don't know which color egg each of the two...

If you are still in the market for duck diapers we make them. They can be purchased on our website at www.SewSammi.com

@Amykins I'm with Tevyes dad on all but one point - I know it's hard, but I would suggest not snuggling them if they don't like it or are running away from you. We have that problem with ChaCha, she does not like to be "grabbed" or "held" so we do it as rarely as possible. I learned to make...
