Hi y'all! Mine haven't quite reached laying age just yet. They are however doing very well, thanks! : ) They're getting to be pretty big, too. They're so funny - I guess it comes from being such a friendly chicken. I'll try to get some pics posted this weekend.

have you tried putting a little light inside the coop at night? If not, it should coax them inside. If there's already a light, then they're stubborn. lol You shouldn't need the light for long for them to get it.. hopefully.

Aw, Kiki, sorry that happened! Charge a $25 deposit and when they pick up their chicks, they get their deposit back. lol The good news is that you may be able to sell them pretty quickly to someone that can accommodate chicks. I have several 55's that are from 1 - 3 1/2 months.

You can try sprinkling cayenne pepper around the area. You can pick it up cheap in the 'value spices' bin at WalMart/Dollar Store... They do a lot of sniffing, so let 'em snort some of that and see what they think. burn baby, burn
