IA (incubators anonymous) September Hatches?

The heat doesn't bother me as much as the humidity. Yuck. It's been raining here since Saturday, bleh. Supposed to rain off and on until Wednesday.
I can't wait to get them outside! And I am sure they will be sooo much happier! I cut the lumber to construct a temporary small coop, for now. The panels will eventually be used for the runs. I have prepped the site where the permanent coop will be. The weather continues in the 90s every day this week, with high humidity. I can only work in this heat for small amounts of time, ugh!

Yes. I said heat, but you are right about the humidity. By the end of July, we had over 54" of rain for the year, 20" of that was in July. I don't know what the current total is, but we have had rain almost every day since July. With the humidity figured in, the "feels like" temps are over 100. The minute you walk outside, you start sweating, without even doing anything, lol.

Don't encourage him, lol.
Shamo... ROFL!!!
When it's so humid you can't breathe...:barnieNo thank you!

My first attempt at incubating shipped eggs didn't go well, 10% hatch rate, ugh. Since I am not a quitter (or perhaps I am just stubborn!), I will be setting another 15 eggs today after work. Anyone else incubating for a September hatch?
I set 18 eggs first week September and am down to 4 who are on lock down. I reordered for more shipped eggs and they just arrived today. Much like yourself I am bound to hatch more then 10 percent. First set I put right in the incubator, this time I will leave them to rest for 24 hours and hope for better result. Good luck on your next hatch.

Thank you, and good luck to you, too!
10 of my twelve have veins showing. The other 2 (EEs) may just be harder to see through. We'll get those percentages up!

Good luck! What kind of eggs are you hatching?

Eggs are on day 16. I've lost track. Been too busy  it has been a hit and miss for turning this whole time so I may lose them all late. We will see.

Meanwhile the Japs are thriving
Them at two weeks
