    Ok so I only have one chicken left. And it's not doing well. I'm trying to save it, but I think it's to far gone. This is just heartbreaking. Someone suggested to put food grade lime where the chickens pooped in the yard to keep the dog safe. Is that a good idea?

    Thanks everyone for your help. Has anyone heard of dog barking really close to chickens causing death? Someone told me it might. I'd never heard of it. My neighbors have a golden doodle and the coop sits kind of along side their fence line. Their dog barks all the time.
