I'm new and I have a question... I see people that at the bottom of their comments it says in lighter letters something like "1 Barred Rock, 1 Buff Orpington, etc." how do you change that??
I'm just taking a guess, I think the third one (tan-and-white) is a Golden Comet... I would look them up and see pictures and info and compare your hen
Here is a post for all things Buff Orpington!
Here's my beautiful little hen at only 5 weeks old! 283 grams, the fatty!
Do you have Buff Orpingtons? How many? Do you like them? Do you want them?
TALK TO ME!! :)
Hello,
I also live in Massachusetts, and yesterday actually I went out to buy a heat lamp for the winter coming up. I asked the owner of the store and he said they would be totally fine without it. I have four hens and an un-insulated 4x8 coop, I think they will be fine without it if you don't...
^^^ This is my little hen, Willa. She is about 4 1/2-5 weeks old and is (supposed to be) a hen. But people keep saying that her comb is growing really quickly. I don't know what breed she is. If it is a she!
<<<<this is one of my other hens, JoJo. She is the same age but obviously, as you...
I am new to the chicken world and have got my ideas from this website. I have a 4-week-old Golden Comet hen named JoJo. I am getting 3 more soon of various breeds.
