Oh that's so sad :( I have my first pip! I think I heard chirping too. Im so nervous!

Day 2 of lock down starts tonight and I just saw an egg wiggle!! So exciting!!

I have 6 Icelandic eggs going into lockdown tonight! I've been candling and have seen movement in all 6! 2 were clear so I discarded :( day 18 starts tonight!

Im a little late to the party too. I have 8 eggs in a hoverbator. They are Icelandic eggs I picked up locally. I candled them on day 7 and could see the dark eye moving around in 5 out of 8 of them! Very very cool! They should hatch Sunday June 15th or Monday June 16th.

Lots of shoveling and we are almost back in business. For now the girls are in the garage laying eggs in strange places lol! Just have to get the top wires on to keep the hawks away. We had 28 inches!

I won't know how bad the damage is till I can dig it out but at least the chickens were still in the coop!

He's a beautiful guy. So far very docile (24-25 weeks) he was supposed to be a she and the town I live in doesn't allow roosters. I live in SE mass. I can email you a picture. He's a Plymouth Rock and very handsome.
