    Update! I awoke to three hatched chicks this AM, they are a day ahead of schedule but they are bantam Polishes so maybe that is why? It is soooo exciting. I have a crazy morning so they will have to stay in the bator until I get back in the afternoon. I hope that is okay!

    I am! I have just set 16 bantam Polish eggs with frizzle gene, hopefully. And some Breda eggs arrived today. These batch should hatch on 4/30. I can continue to post updates if anyone is interested.

    Seven chicks have hatched 2 BBS Cooper Marans 3 Lavender Orpingtons 2 Cream Legbars There are 3 more in the incubator that are pipping, mostly Lavender Orpingtons. Here is the photo of the seven of the chicks.

    I just set 32 eggs in two incubators from a CA to MA shipment today, 3/16. I would love to join in with you all. The eggs are Crested Cream Legbars, Lavender Orpington and Black Copper Marans. I received extra bantam eggs so let's see how that goes.

    Is it stressful for the Silkie? Also, when can you start them as brooders? I have an incubator but it can only hold 24 eggs and I do not want to wait to get all the chicks going since I am going to rehome most of them before May. Thanks
