I would breed her to a red male and then take one of the cockerels and breed back to her. You should get roughly 75% mottled babies out of that crossing. Your first generation from the red male will all look solid, but be carrying mottled. You could even breed some of the F1 siblings together...
looks good! I have the nipples instead of the cups on mine. The only problem I have is algae growing in the lines and clogging it up (even indoors with no sunlight) be careful that they don't get clogged. I had a bird look sick and realized that she had no water
I have 2 cockerels that are free to a good home if anyone is interested. they have no major faults, I just have too many and need to make room. These may help someone's breeding program
I finally got the post office here straightened out. the cincy airport had no idea what they were doing, but all birds will still go express as they have always done
I keep an updated list of all available birds with pics and prices on my facebook album https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.287874501241246.87574.100000560950503&type=3
Average prices is $100 - 150/pr depending on quality. I can ship and that starts at $60 including box
Pics are of my main...
You're most welcome Craig! He was kind of a pet so I was holding him for a good cause. You'll have to post a side view when he gets all fluffed up. I haven't seen him clean since Sedalia
Most birds look close to adults at around 6-7 months, but I have seen that my birds don't look their best until about 2 years of age. They need to look like the adults, just not over a year yet
I find that it's hard to use the 1-100 bands I'm always getting numbers that can be upside down confused for example 86 and 98. You probably want to start with 100. i'm on about my 4th or 5th set now
