Possibly aggressive Turkey?!
I am going to keep working on him.. and hope he comes back around. He wasn't intended on being dinner, he was suppose to be more of a pet. If he doesn't come around I may give him to my father in law. :( just sucks! -

We have 4 polish chickens, 2 roosters and 2 hens. It is nice that they aren't really aggressive and are pretty friendly. We raised ours from chicks (well besides our black hen we got from my sister in law) so all but the black hen are not scared of people. We gave a rooster to our father in law...- Chair13

Thank you :) We have had a share of misfortune, but learning as we go.. Even teaching my local vet a few things :) I enjoy all my birds and hope to continue learning about them. They are a joy to have.- Chair13

Possibly aggressive Turkey?!
We have eaten plenty of roosters in the last year because of their aggressive behavior. I just had hope that because he is only showing signs of aggression toward me that maybe there was hope he would revert to being a friendly turkey, but today he went after another bird and I thought he was... -

I live close to Wisconisn, I am in Menominee county! I am down to about 50 birds (mostly chickens now-polish, silkies, Ameraucanas, cochins, red jungle fowl, rhode island reds, frizzle and mixes, also 5 Indian runner ducks, one female peacock and 2 turkeys).
