So I got a couple chickens a few months ago and was assured they were both hens.... One was a rooster... I kept him around and put an ad on Craigslist to get rid of him because I can't have a rooster in this neighborhood. Well yesterday he started crowing away like it was his job. Not only was...
That video is horrifying... Don't get me wrong I eat chicken on a regular basis but they are never chickens that live a horrifying life like this one shows.
I bought a layer pellet yesterday for them. The guy at ace was so wrong!!! He told me that the chickens wouldn't eat I because its too big for them.... Has this guy ever even looked in one of these bags?!?! Started feeding them with the pellets last night. They devour it!!! How many times a day...
Well that's weird the guy at ace hardware told me that's what he uses... What should I be feeding them? I have two Rhode Island Red chickens. They're still young. Unsure of age. They aren't laying yet.
Just finished my coop early afternoon yesterday and got a couple chickens late last night. I'm just here for some pointers and any advise that can help. I'm completely new to this so I'm a little nervous but mostly excited. Thank you everyone and have a great day!!!
