Hello! I have successfully raised both Guinea and Ducks within my chicken flock. Has anybody tried jumbo coturnix quail? I have bantams, so there really wouldn't be a huge size difference.

I'll answer the ones I know :) Quails require less space than chickens. I'd say one square foot per quail would be fine. Quail do need a totally enclosed coop because they can fly to some extent. Also, they are fairly clueless as far as escaping/evading predators. My quail would sometimes lay...
