Duck Eye Problem

Sorry got busy, I would gently wash their eyes with warm water and try to get all the gunk off around the eye, after that I would apply an eye ointment around the eye as needed, although the treatment is fairly simple the underlying cause of the problem should be addressed. because it will occur again if not addressed. At that age, they should be able to dunk their heads in water 24/7. Have any of the birds been pecking each other?

I don't think there's been pecking. I think it will help if I start keeping the ducks and chicks separate. That way I can provide the ducks with enough water without creating a wet environment for the chicks. I put a thing of water in ducks. It is elevated a little and has a 3.5 or 4 inch diameter hole in the top. Does that sound big enough for dunking? I'm thinking I will get some antibiotics to put in the chicks and ducks water. Is there any poultry antibiotic I should avoid (bc it's too strong for young ones)? They also get medicated feed.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks SO much!

Terramycin eye ointment is usually available at TSC and many feed stores I keep it in my animals med chest if the gunk is hardened try soaking a wag cloth in nice warm salty water and wring out and hold to the eye like a compress that may help to loosen the stuff. Something like this makes a good waterer.
