I have a 20 day old chick. I put it in a cardboard box. I also put a feather duster with it. Unfortunately later I found out the duster was covered with dust. So the chick makes a wheezing sound. Everything about the chick is normal. What do I do? Will the wheezing pass away?

Wasn't a local store, I bought them off a street vendor. But I'll go to a pet store and get the chicks what they need.

I keep their heads out of the sweater,but their bodies inside.My last two chicks didn't huddle up together so I'm guessing they weren't cold. Is that correct? The box is placed indoors and next to the window in the morning and afternoon so that the chicks can get sunlight. I place this mattress that new born babies sleep on in the box, and on top of it I place a newspaper. I give them millet to eat. At night I place them in a sweater and wrap it...

It keeps on chirping, like it needs to get out of the box,but it causes a mess wherever I leave it. I'm trying to put it to sleep but it wakes up after 30 mins or so. How do I get it to stop chirping?
