Richard is a fine cat who came into this world of accidental breeding by our over eager indoor cat meeting the extra suave shop cat. He'e got a very strong hunt drive, if it moves he wants it. we have chicks now and he purrs like he wants them. he's met the big ducks outside and realises they'll...
i have white campbells and they lay all year. I plead with them to take a week off as my partner has developed a duck egg allergy and theres just too many eggs!
our Peanut was wary at first, probably because the ducks chase him around the garden, but now with the baby chickens he wants to watch them all the time. and sniff them. the first meeting... well his face says it all.
Ive always wondered that. when my ducks had free range of the whole garden there was a gravel bit, hard pokey gravel i didnt enjoy walking barefoot on, they happily ran across it. now in their half of the garden they have river pebbles, smooth stones, that they love dabbling under when it rains...

I got my 3 CL delivered this morning. Too excited about them. We keep talking with them, going lil peep peep peep. I was hoping for at least a week old(cause I'm really impatient and want eggs now) but they turned up being 2 days old! Itty bitty chicks. The chihuahua wants nothing to do with...
I thought that but then I'd have chickens inside for months. My ducks are fatties tipping the scales at 3kg each. I think I might try partitioning the run.
I tried searching this and couldn't find exactly the answers I want so forgive me if it's already posted elsewhere.
I have 3 brand new 2 day old cream legbars and 2 year old white Campbell ducks. Now if I had my way I'd let everyone live inside harmoniously but the wife says no.
