Any cleaner that works good to give a good deap clean to the coop? If like to get rid if the funky smell. I scoop the sand every 2-3 days but still has an odor.
I have one hem that has disappeared the last 2 nights And didn't come home to roost. After searching today I found her in the timber on a clutch of 18 eggs. I know they won't hatch because they have not been fertilized. So I throw them all out and chase her off the best or what? I don't want...
The past few nights one of our chickens has decided to roost up in the tree instead if going in the coop. Not sure why she is doing this. Should I b concerned? Leave her there or what? I close up the run doors so no varmits get in. But not sure what to do
What site did u order the nipples from? and what did u use to seal the nipple to prevent leaking

Mine are not roosting on their own yet. They are about 3 months old. Should I build a ladder from the lower roost to the high? Also we are using 2x2s. Should they b bigger?
Any specific type of sand better than others to use? And do u put DE down once u put the sand in? And where do u buy DE? It's starting to get warm here and I'm thinking if switching to sand vs wood chip bedding for easier cleaning.
Ok great. We do have an enclosed run so that will help. Our girls are 8 1/2 weeks and I'm ready for them to b out. We have some younger ones at about 3 weeks that will b joining them shortly.
