    Silkie thread!

    I had the SAME problem! My hen hatched 7 eggs in April, and I'm only now figuring out that 5 of the 7 are roosters! It was very ambiguous until they started trying to crow! This is very disappointing because NOW I have to find homes for 5 roosters! Any suggestions?

    That's hilarious! That's exactly what my son called it--an egg fart! I had NO idea that pullets were capable of laying at 4 months old! :-p

I can identify the egg on the left as one that I typically get from my American game hens & the one in the middle as from my Silky hen.... But the one on the right has me confused!
