From the pictures I am pretty sure you have at least ONE rooster, I am not sure about the other one, and if you have more pictures those would be great to see because they are both beauties!!
I don't know for sure, but the last chick looks sort of like a black langshan.... Again, not positive but looks like it. Good luck on your backyard chickens!!!
I think they are gnats!! We have the same problem, and the roosters scratch at their combs to get the gnats off, and only succeed in making themselves bleed and attracting MORE gnats!!
I know you are considering putting it down, but maybe you would consider just clipping off the tip of the beak, enough so it could eat. We have a hen with a crooked beak and a hen that has NO top beak.I don't know if it would work, but if you are planning on killing the chicken anyway, why not...
