Well I guess my luck with hatching chickens wasn't as good as with ducklings, only 2 out of 5. I believe it's because of the humidity diffrance, and maybe because the incubator was opend so meny times in the last 3 days. This time I'm gonna just place duck eggs in it. -

Thank you Those were the first ones I've ever hatched out, there were nine eggs and they all hatched out. I did have to help a few of them out, but they seem to be just fine, I've got 15 more that I've been collecting for the last 5 days that I'm going to incubate now. -

Well I downloaded firefox and it made a big difference, wow there is so many different features that was not offered on IE. well anyway these are my baby ducklings, this pic was taken yesterday, today they are up running around and are doing very well it appears -

I have IE so that must be why there is no icon for pics, guess I'll download firefox. But as for my ducklings, all 9 hatched out and are eating, drinking and sleeping a lot. Hope they all continue to do well, I had put 5 chicken eggs in on day 7 unfortunately only one hatched and I'm not sure on... -

The only place there is a photo icon is on my phone, and every time I click on it it says add a URL. When I try to load one on the computer it says loading, it wont even let me change my avatar -

Pekin with niacin deficiency
Thanks for the advise, iv been on that web site and a few more lol but they keep saying to use niacin. I always like to get advise from people also, some of the books iv read has said to use niacin also, do you have any Recommendations on books ? -

The pekin has bowed legs and swelled joints, the others seem to be just fine. This year has been bad were I live, last year it was 80 outside by now but its still in the 50s this year. All my ducks did very well last year and I had no problems, im scared to let them outside to much with the temp... -

Just checked the humidity on the incubator it is a 80%, and the temp is 99.5. On the top of the incubator there is glass windows so that I can see inside, you can hear them peeping and moving. Sometimes you can see the eggs moving, if anyone has incubated duck eggs before please let me know if... -

Yeah ive read a lot on the humidity and how on the last three days you just leave them alone, but never knew about the shrinking, thanks for that info. I have read that I need to have there humidity at around 70% to 80% its at 70% or so right now. Just didn’t expect them to start piping today... -

I’ve mentioned before that I have an incubator with 9 surviving Rouen and Runner duck eggs, they are supposed to hatch on Wednesday but they are two that are piping now. Is there anything that I should be doing like spraying them with worm water, or just leave them alone? And how long after they...
