    My girls don't seem that noisy... They do sing their egg songs every day when they lay. They are very gentle birds and although Mavis is the dominant chicken of the flock, she is never mean. They get along with my Ameraucanas well, but the Americaunas are a little more mean, I think.

    I have 3 black autralorps that I purchased from a hatchery as started pullets.. I love my aussie girls, they are sweet natured and lay an egg almost every day. I recently hatched out 10 Australorp / Ameraucana eggs. I hope to have plenty of olive eggs.

    Absolutely…. My chics are only 6 weeks old. They are Black/Lavender Split Ameraucanas. There is a black hen, and a black roo with the remainder being lavender. The two black chicks are very close… I am surprised.
