    Identify this goose?

She won’t starve. They are very good and getting little minnows and finding patches of grass and she will learn quickly from the other geese how to survive. The are incredibly smart and resilient. Never a bad thing to go and give her some treats though every once I awhile 😉

    Identify this goose?

Looks like a Pilgrim goose. I raise those and she looks just like my girls. That’s sad too because they are critically endangered. This is a Pilgrim goose and gander below. The female is gray and the gander is white.

    Silkie Polish Mix

I love them! Think I’m going to hatch a few satin polish just to see what colors I get from them! I sold 3 of those 4 too but I am going to ask for pictures once they are fully grown.

    Silkie Polish Mix

Thank you! It’s been so fun to watch them grow and feather out. I think polish Silkie crosses are amazing. Been thinking of crossing a polish to a satin Silkie to see how they turn out.

    Turkey hens stopped laying!

That’s so weird. They were laying in 2 spots for months. Of course we had snow this week so they are probably all frozen. Guess I’ll have to do some major hunting tomorrow. Thanks for y’all’s replies!

    Turkey hens stopped laying!

My 3 Bourbon Red girls started laying about 2 months ago and have been laying almost every day since starting. The last few weeks I have gotten 4 eggs. I have checked everywhere there could be a nest and nothing. I ended up getting some oyster shell today that i will set out tomorrow to see...

    Pilgrim geese? yes or no?

I know I am a little late to the party but honestly to me the female in the last picture looks like a Cotton Patch Goose. Pilgrims have a dark orange bill and it looks like that one has a light pink one. Looks like someone just dumped their flock off at or near that cemetery. The auto...

My hatcher has some gorgeous Cochins. Since we are in Texas you might have to get her to ship hatching eggs but the 2 we got from her are gorgeous blue and brown mottled. And great temperament. You can find her at the ricks chicks farm on Facebook!

You can always put it as high as you want but have little platforms that they can fly to to get there. They love being up high!

I live in Houston tx and I have 4 pr's that do just fine in the heat. I do have a fan to ciculate air in the barn but they love it outside.
