The colors are fascinating and they feather out so beautifully. It’s fun to experiment.
Thank you! It’s been so fun to watch them grow and feather out. I think polish Silkie crosses are amazing. Been thinking of crossing a polish to a satin Silkie to see how they turn out. They are gorgeous!
You will get a smooth feathered bird that will likely look a little more Polish than Silkie.Thank you! It’s been so fun to watch them grow and feather out. I think polish Silkie crosses are amazing. Been thinking of crossing a polish to a satin Silkie to see how they turn out.
I love them! Think I’m going to hatch a few satin polish just to see what colors I get from them! I sold 3 of those 4 too but I am going to ask for pictures once they are fully grown. You will get a smooth feathered bird that will likely look a little more Polish than Silkie.
These two young pullets are 75% Silkie and 25% Polish. They inherited the Silkie feathering but they have more of a Polish body type.
The second picture with the smooth feathered bird is their full sibling.
These birds were about two to three months old in these photos. I sold them all, so I don’t know what they look like now.
