thanks. My husband thought frostbite I didn't know. But I guess it doesn't matter to much we have 6 roosters and only 2 hens till yesterday we got 6 more hens and my husband is going to put all but 1 or 2 roosters in the freezer and that one is on the list. thanks for your help.
I notice one of my roosters spur was black and a day or two later his 2 inch spur look like it rotted off to a little black nub. If anybody know what would cause this I would appreciate the info.

Actually I looked up this forum for pretty much the same thing. I didn't find the spur but the other day I noticed that one of our roosters spur was totally black but only one spur. oh the next day or two I notice his use to be 2 inch long spur was only a little black nub. If you find out...
