This nice looking chicken was purchased from a local feed and seed store back in March. Label said Buff Orpington Pullets. Looks like a roo to me. What do you think.
We bought 5 new Silkie chicks a week ago this past Saturday. The guy we bought them from said they were 2 weeks old so that would make them 3 weeks old now. They have been very skittish and jumpy since we got them home. We try to hand feed and they are not interrested. Our other chicks were hand...
8 for me..They are 3 red sex links, 3 commercial black. 1 silver laced wyandotte, 1 buff orpington.

Had a busy weekend after a short break. We got the wife's half painted, installed roof and started putting the wire on. It will be done soon. 5x12 on one side. 5 x10 on the new side.
Since it was nice and warm today we put the chicks on the ground for a little while.. thats my youngest(14 year old ) daughter Jenna in the coop with the chicks. The first picture at the start of the thread is my step grand daughter Stacy(5 years). She has not been here since we got the chicks...
