    Fly paper

    Hello everyone, Any suggestions for removing fly paper glue from feathers. One of our girls got tangled up with the tacky paper...needles to say, it was not good. I would suggest never, ever, use it. Calmed her down and removed what we could with a towel. Peaches seems fine now. But that was scary!

    Hi, Thanks for the advice about the cracked feet question. Turns out the cracking was due to the girls jumping on and off the metal feed tray. I purchased a plastic tray right away. I kept cleaning their feet with peroxide and rubbing neosporin and or Vaseline everyday. I am happy to report that...

    Thanks so much! We cleaned them up ...peroxide and neosporin and they seem to be doing better. I will read on for more remedies.

    Noticed a little bit of cracking on my 4 week old Bared Plymouth Rock ...Minnie. Her feet were bleeding a little, we cleaned them off and she seems to be doing well. Any thoughts?

    Country girl in an urban yard!

    Brand new chick owner. All of the girls seem to being doing well...Peaches, Mabel, Minny and Gingham! Thanks so much for the open welcome! Hoping to move the chicks outdoors in a few weeks.
