Okay my duck hatched over 24 hours ago, she hatch with both eyes open. But now she's keeping one closed. She can still open the eye, but its like she doesnt want to I tried puting warm water over her eye with a q-tip, but it didn't help, please what do I do????

So my egg has not made progress for a couple of hours, and the membrane is drying so I have been wetting it every couple if hours and I chipped a few tiny tiny pieces but I am afraid to do anymore and it seems like she's given up because, she not trying anymore. This is my first time incubating...
