I have a 6 week old chick that was pecked by the others so bad it's skull is showing. Is it possible for it to survive? it is in a box on my counter now, I put some neosporin on its head. It looks miserable,It is standing all fluffed up with its eyes closed.
My friend gave me some easter egger eggs to hatch from her flock. Only one hatched, and it has had issues with pasty butt, while cleaning it's but, I realized it has no tail bone at all. It just has a gap between its bones back there! I wonder if thats what is causing the pasty butt.
