    My Chanteclerc chicks.

    Out of 18 eggs, I got 14 chicks, all healthy, born May 4. Due date was May 3. Most were born on day 22 and 4 on day 23. Chanteclerc is an excellent dual purpose hen, developed in Canada about 100 years ago. I live in New Brunswick and this bird is ideal for our cold winters.
