This morning I foun a shell-less egg in the coop. I'm suspecting it was the Pullet who was JUST egg bound two days ago, because she is the only one laying so far (but who knows?) Anyway the egg was all soft and gooey and had no shell just an odd coating of jelly brown stuff. I didnt know what on...
Thanks everybody who answered! I got my first 2 eggs this mourning.......I don't know what 2 chickens layed them.......Im guessing my Big Red (who squats when I approach and is as red as a fire truck around the face/wattle) is one of them! I'm so happy....

I know different breeds will lay at different times. I'm going to put down my chickens breed and age. Can you tell me about how many more weeks until they lay?(the ones who are 14-ish weeks old can be anywhere from 13 to 15 weeks old....i'm not sure i'm just guessing 14 weeks)
