Any idea what breed this chick is?

Nvm... just looked up the breed & found out about the feet! Never thought to check silkies, as our Tractor does not have them listed as a breed they are selling. Lol Thanks for the help! Excited to have a new breed in our flock of mire traditional birds!

Any idea what breed this chick is?

They gave her to us because she had a limp. Fine now. Are her/his feet deformed? I’ve never seen so many toes!

Any idea what breed this chick is?

Got this chick at Tractor. They threw a bunch of chicks into one container & had no idea what breed he/she is. Been trying to find a photo of a similar looking chick. post your chicken coop pictures here!

Thanks Ed! It's hardware cloth over a cattle panel. We also buried cloth 24" down & did a 2 1/2' skirt around the entire base (it's buried under the mulch). It's also in an enclosed garden with its own wood & cloth fence 6' high. Would you still add welded?

    Wet feed

Is this a normal occurrence in Layena feed?

I'm guessing this is the date? Not moldy or wet. Just big wads of what looks like dryer lint & hair. Lots of them! Calling Purina & returning the bag to tractor.

Is this a normal occurrence in Layena feed?

Just opened a new bag of crumbles from Tractor Supply. Found clumps of this fiber in it. Concerned about feeding it to my girls. Is this normal?

    Steady layer suddenly stopped

Hi all! About a 2 months ago we came home to a barred rock hen, in a box, on our doorstep. We had no coop for her, so we brought he in & placed her in an XL dog cage in our laundry room. She gave us an egg a day from day 1! 2 weeks ago we added a chicken tractor with 4 young pullets. 1 already...
