I got eggs from Glamorous chicken hobby farm (facebook page). Couldn't be happier. Best hatch all summer and birds are amazing. Very glad I went to her. I don't know that she will have any available right now but maybe. You can always IM her!

Yeah!!! Thanks so much fancychooklady! She is a little hard to get a good picture of; camera shy. I will try to get some better ones of her to post soon. So happy I am going to be able to keep her!
Not sure how old this one is exactly. I am guessing about 11-15 weeks? The Pom on the head looks pretty round to me. I think this silkie is going to be bearded after all as the last feathers of his/her neck are coming in now. Wattles are very small but reddish. The comb seems to have grown...
Ihave a few ameraucanas that are prob. between 5-7 weeks old. I am fairly certain of at least one roo. The others are starting to grow a comb but it is not as large and not the red color of the suspect roo. Anyone want to let me know what they think about these guys? They are splash and...
I may be interested in getting some dominique hatching eggs. If I bought a full dozen would this be mixed or could I get all dominique eggs? Do you have any idea when the next shipment would be? Lastly, are these birds hatchery stock or breeder stock dominiques that you are have eggs from...
Hello everyone! So glad I found this thread and what a great idea. I have some new chicks, (all from breeders) and I think one of my purebred blue ameraucana hens is turning into a rooster. We may be looking to re-home him or perhaps even bred him with our splash and blue hens. Depending on...

Hope this works! I tried to load pics from my phone and can't tell. Should be of my silkie. Age not sure guessing 5-6 weeks though from the feathering. Any clues as to sex yet on our sweetie?
I have one silkie that is older than the ameracaunas but not sure how much older, I'm guessing about 5 weeks? The ameracaunas may be a few days apart. I got them from a breeder but was so excited I forgot to get their ages! Any guesses yet on sex? The bigger, bluer ameracauna I think will end...
Hi,
I am a newbie to the chicken world. I just got a few baby chicks, one of which is a silkie that is about 5 weeks old. He/She is "coughing" with no sounds but sneezing (no runny nose or discharge though), yet remains very active and is eating and drinking well. It seems to be from time to...
