    I love this idea. where did you purchase the fan ? Also what did you use for the auto turner? I'm going to use a digital thermostat as opposed to the coils (out of lack of electrical experience and I prefer not to electrocute myself in the process):P. Awesome job!

    This lil guy was born with these weird feathers...I thought it was bumps on the skin but a closer look and seen his little feathers are rough looking, what could cause this? The other silkies born were smooth.

    is it normal for silkies to lay white eggs? the ones I've gotten are always tan-ish. but my 1 year old silkie hen just started laying 2 days ago (my first egg eeeee!) and it was white. then this morning I check again and same spot another white egg.
