    I have been wanting more Cochins, but there were no Cochins where she came from ... do French Marans have feathered feet? She could be that I suppose - which would be great! I got three pullets when I got the Orps.

    I just got some black English Orpington chicks and noticed that one of them has something "different". The chick in question looks just like the others, except that it's feet and beak are yellow, whereas the Orp have a greyish leg and darker beak. Do you think this one could be a Wyandotte...

    I'll try to get a pic of the roo at the farm where I got the chicks when I go back on Saturday. He is massive and beautiful. I want one now, but husband says no Roos right now. I'll need to ask the owners permission to take pics (I'm a professional photographer, so I have to follow the rules)...

    Hi All - new member here from Texas. Been raising chickens for years now, and decided to join today after getting some new chicks. New arrivals are English Orpingtons, blue and copper Marins, and most exciting are the dozen fertile eggs of Cream Legbars! Will be posting soon... :)
