    My hen hatched her egg yesterday! Exciting. Now I have to decide if I leave them in barn or move indoors. Do not think mom would be happy indoors as would miss freedom. Have read so much about it is a little mind boggling. Any suggestions.

    My barn is heated but keep it llow because of horses & water. It usually is @ 40 (give or take 2 degrees in either direction). Have started giving mealworms. Will try ur other suggestions. Thank you.

    New Thread

    Hi. I'm Jacki & just joined. We have 2 silkies that are 4 yr old, 4 Rhode Island Reds a year old and newest additions 3 week old 2 Americana's & 1 Barred Rock. Am looking forward to learning more about caring for them. Am recently retired so now have more time.
