We have 2 7 week old Anconas that we had the same thing happen to one of them. I never saw the other one picking on her but once we put some toys in the brooder the bare spots stopped popping up and her feathers have now grown in just fine. I believe the other one was just bored.

We have 2 chickens that have been laying for about a month and one KC duck that just started laying last week. All 3 have been laying every day this week it is so cute they all take turns laying in the same nest. So when they are done all 3 eggs are together.

I freaked out too when I saw reddish pink down his front. I was looking for an injury and then noticed I had forgot I had given him watermelon that morning and it was the watermelon juice down the front of him.
